The Union City Rotary Club Relays is an annual invitational track meet held at War Memorial Stadium in Union City. This yearly spring event provides a first class venue for regional high schools to showcase their athletic talent. All events are organized, supervised and judged by Union City Rotarians under the direction of Randy Barnes, Jim Rippy, Dr. Robert Young, Dr. Charles Denaburg, and Dr Wright Jernigan
The Union City Rotary Relays will be held at the Union City High School Track & Field Facility on Thursday, May 5th, 2011. If inclement weather, the meet will be rescheduled for Friday May 6th..

NOTE TO ALL ROTARY MEMBERS:
Chairmen need to review their group of workers and follow up on their availability as well as the track rules that apply to your areas. If you have problems filling your area, you can pull workers from the group listed as "Field Event Assistants" or “Meet Assistants”.
To help the Chairmen, members assigned to an event or committee should contact their chairman as to their availability that day. The Chairman’s phone number is listed as well as the report time.
If you are listed as a Field Event Assistant, please report at 3:00 and see Wright Jernigan for assignment. If you are listed as a "Meet Assistant" , please report at 5:00 and see Randy Barnes or Mike Harbor for assignment. You need to be available to help in areas of need.
Field events begin at 3:30 and running events begin at 5:30. Please be there 30 minutes before they begin. If you are a new member or a member that is not listed above, please volunteer to help.
